In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated areas of the southern United States. In New Orleans alone, in excess of 1000 people lost their lives, thousands were left homeless, and the city with the profound heart and soul was hurting.
To celebrate the spirit and recovery of the city, several jackets were designed by “The Jacket Lady”®. With the predominant colors of blues or browns, two of the jackets are available either as reversible - hurricane one side; rebirth and joy the other, or as one-sided jackets - either side available.
