BJ is a 56-year old wife, mother and grandmother living in the mountain states of the U.S.
She has enjoyed teaching second grade since 1998 and now works two days per week in a
teacher bookstore, spends time with her grandchildren and enjoys substitute teaching at the
lower elementary level. BJ believes that the earmarks of her success in life are communication,
her fexibility and sense of organization.
Colombia and Bangladesh have been "far away homes" (according to their grandson) for BJ and her husband - who both enjoy teaching internationally. Together, they have traveled to every continent except two - Australia and Antactica. Currently, their new home is being built where they will blend Asian interior and exterior decor in the U.S.
She loves the variety of ethnicities represented in the Firefly Designs Africa · Asia clothing, the versatility of each piece is obvious as she wears her Firefly Designs Africa · Asia clothing to casual events, teaching, for daily work in a teacher bookstore, as well as to formal charity ball events. She knows that both men and women will love the unique designs and the fact that many cultures' textiles are incorporated into the clothing collections.
